Garlic bread made with garlic butter and marjoram filling worked very well. Marjoram is so underrated.
Normandy came to Ivybridge today, more like Norman came to Ivybridge. It is unlikely a market in Normandy would be as crap as this one. The cheese was OK.
I have better UK cheese from ‘Totness good Food’ ‘Ivybridge Market’ or ‘Royal Williams Yard’. The best French cheese I have had outside of France is in Munich (‘Galeria Kaufhov’) and London (‘La Fromagerie’). Neals Yard is still the best cheese shop in the world. Waitrose has a good cheese counter, certainly better than the rival supermarkets.
